Filmmaker Ben Proudfoot accepts the SDFF 2022 Jury Winner – Best Short for A Concerto Is A Conversation, which he co-directed with the film’s subject, musician Kris Bowers.

In the poetic, visually-stunning short, virtuoso jazz pianist and film composer Bowers tracks his family’s lineage through his 91 year-old grandfather from Jim Crow Florida to the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
